Data Deletion
Last updated April 24, 2026
Your Right to Delete
Palette lets you delete your data at any time. This page explains how to remove data stored on your device and how to request deletion of data associated with your account from our servers.
Delete Data In-App
- Open Palette and go to Settings → Delete all data. This wipes your saved palette, profile, and scan history from this device.
- Or simply delete the app — local data is removed on uninstall.
If you only use Palette on a single device and have never contacted support, these steps are typically sufficient to remove your personal data.
Delete Server-Side Data
To permanently delete data associated with your account on our servers — including palette results, profile information, and subscription records tied to your device ID — email us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Subject line: “Delete my data”
Include your device ID if you have it (Settings → About → Device ID), otherwise describe your account so we can locate it. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
What We Delete
Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we remove:
- Your palette analysis results and scan history
- Profile information associated with your device ID
- Any photos or media you uploaded for analysis
- Subscription records tied to your device ID (where permitted by law)
We may retain a minimal amount of information where required by law (for example, financial records for tax or accounting purposes). Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytics.
